Transient admission status allows students enrolled in a degree-seeking program at another institution to take courses not offered at the parent institution at Florida State University on a space-available basis. Students must be in good academic standing at the parent institution and Florida State (if previously enrolled at FSU).
Incoming transient applications may be submitted no earlier than one semester in advance of the term for which the applicant is seeking admission. Deadlines for each semester are as follows:
